Some people want to run gpvdm on systems where they do no have the administrative privileges needed to install software. Examples are at companies and at Universities. To use gpvdm on a system where you do not have rights to install software do the following things:
Download the zip file below containing gpvdm
Unzip gpvdm to a directory to which you have write access. An example may be z:\gpvdm.
Find the file path.reg in the directory, and set the "installpath" variable to where you have installed gpvdm, don't get caught out by the double backslashes needed in the file path.
Double click on the file path.reg, this will install the gpvdm registry key
After having done this, you will be able to run gpvdm by running gpvdm.exe in the unzipped directory.
*This collection of files is quite large, to stop bots wasting my bandwidth, I have password protected these zip files (username : user, password: password).
